Siam Global House partners with AESCON and Integra R.E. to deploy Huawei’s advanced BESS technology across all branches nationwide, advancing smarter and more resilient clean energy use in Thailand

Bangkok, August 31, 2026 — Siam Global House Public Company Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AESCON Co., Ltd. and Integra R.E. Co., Ltd. to jointly develop and deploy Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions across its branch network, marking a significant step toward smarter and more resilient energy management across its operations. The MOU was signed at Huawei’s Digital Power Hall headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

Under the collaboration, the partners plan to deploy Huawei’s 241 kWh LUNA2000-241-2S1 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to optimize energy management, maximize the use of electricity generated by solar PV systems, and reduce reliance on grid power. The initiative aims to deploy the solution across all Siam Global House branches nationwide within three years, underscoring the company’s ambition to scale energy storage across its operations.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by executives from all three companies, along with representatives from Huawei Digital Power, a global technology leader in digital power solutions. The executives also discussed opportunities to leverage energy storage technology to strengthen energy management across Siam Global House’s operations.

The collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency of solar energy management (Solar PV) at Siam Global House through the integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The system will help store excess solar energy generated during the daytime for use in the evening or during periods when solar power generation is insufficient, thereby maximizing the self-consumption of solar energy (Max Self-Consumption).

In addition, BESS can be charged during nighttime off-peak hours, when electricity tariffs are lower, and discharge the stored energy during daytime or higher-tariff periods under the Time-of-Use (TOU) tariff structure. This will enable more efficient energy and electricity cost management, while providing greater flexibility in energy usage and reducing reliance on electricity from the grid.

Clearly Defined Roles Across the Partnership

The collaboration brings together the complementary expertise of each partner to support effective project delivery. As the Project Owner, Siam Global House will lead and drive the initiative in line with its sustainability and energy efficiency policies, demonstrating its strong commitment to advancing practical clean energy solutions across its nationwide operations.

Integra R.E. will supply the technology and equipment and lead local coordination, technical support, and quality assurance in collaboration with Huawei. Leveraging its local market expertise and partner network, Integra R.E. will support the deployment and scaling of reliable, high-quality energy storage solutions, bringing world-class digital power technology to customers across Thailand.

Meanwhile, AESCON will oversee the project’s Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities on a turnkey basis, covering installation, on-site project management and system commissioning.

The project is intended to improve energy management efficiency and strengthen the reliability of renewable energy use across Siam Global House branches, while supporting lower electricity costs and long-term reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. Beyond its operational benefits, the initiative is expected to serve as a practical model for wider adoption of BESS among commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses in Thailand, demonstrating the potential of energy storage to support more efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy management.

“Solar PV has enabled us to generate and use clean energy during the daytime. However, the key challenge is how to maximize the utilization of the energy generated. Battery Energy Storage therefore plays an important role in storing surplus energy produced during the day and making it available for use in the evening or when solar power generation is unavailable. This will help reduce our dependence on energy from the Grid and improve energy efficiency across each branch,” said a Siam Global House executive.

Expanding BESS Deployment Nationwide

The signing of the MOU marks the beginning of Siam Global House’s plan to expand BESS installations to all branches nationwide within three years. The initiative underscores the company’s leadership in advancing energy storage adoption for large-scale commercial energy management, while reinforcing its commitment to maximizing the long-term value of clean energy across its operations.

By bringing together Siam Global House’s commitment to sustainable operations, AESCON’s EPC capabilities, Integra R.E. ‘s local market and technical expertise, and Huawei’s digital power technology, the partners aim to develop a scalable energy management model integrating solar PV and BESS. The initiative is expected to improve clean energy utilization, reduce reliance on grid electricity, and support wider adoption of efficient and sustainable energy solutions across Thailand.
